Sally A. Castellanos was born in New York’s South Bronx. Ms. Castellanos grew up with a passion for movies and as an undergraduate film student she attended New York University’s distinguished Tisch School of the Arts.
Upon graduating from New York University, Ms. Castellanos began her career in entertainment working for such prominent companies as Home Box Office, Inc., Warner Bros. Feature Animation and John Blair Entertainment.
Ms. Castellanos later pursued a law degree at Suffolk University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. After relocating to Southern California, Ms. Castellanos completed her law degree at Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California and obtained her Juris Doctor Degree in 1997.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Castellanos continued a career in the entertainment industry working in the business and legal affairs divisions of Twentieth Century Fox Television and DMX Music, Inc. In 2000, Ms. Castellanos made the decision to assist her husband and attorney, Edwin J. Castellanos, with the establishment of the family law firm of Castellanos & Associates, APLC.
Following infertility treatments, Ms. Castellanos began centering her practice in the area of adoption and assisted reproduction technology. Having had her own experience with infertility, Ms. Castellanos brings to her style of representation a deep personal understanding and respect for the individual experiences of each of her clients.
Currently, Ms. Castellanos is a member of Resolve: The National Infertility Association and the American Society For Reproductive Medicine. While happily raising her daughters, Ms. Castellanos performs pro bono work through Public Counsel's Adoption Project and she eagerly assists families coming together through the adoption process and other family building options.
