A Message from Castellanos & Associates, APLC

To Our Clients, Colleagues, Friends, Families, and Communities We Are Proud to Serve:

Like so many of you, we are deeply troubled by the recent events impacting our communities and our nation. We firmly believe that racial injustice and social inequality has no place in America, and their deep connection to larger issues such as poverty, gender-based and LGBTQ discrimination, mass incarceration and racial bias in the criminal justice system and beyond simply cannot stand.

We do not support violence or hate. As a small business dealing with the challenges of Covid-19, we understand just how devasting this time can be if your business has been impacted by recent events. We stand with you. At the same time, these issues will continue to tear us apart as a nation if we do not come together and commit to meaningful and impactful change.

As a minority-owned law practice in America, we are not immune to many of these challenges, and the communities we serve reflect many of these social concerns. We remain committed to empowering the people and communities we serve. We will continue to support those individuals and organizations in our communities and across this country such as Downtown Women’s Center, and Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Domestic Violence Project, and public interest lawyer, Bryan Stevenson, and the Equal Justice Initiative – who not only help us better understand the issues we face in our work each day but who dedicate themselves to lifting up the lives of the poor, disenfranchised and underrepresented throughout this nation.
